We don't eat biscuits that often. DH makes some pretty good biscuits when we want one.

Used to buy Mary B's frozen in a bag from Wal-Mart but last time we bought them they weren't any good. We threw the bag in the trash. They evidently changed their recipe?

I was watching her on Gourmet Holiday this AM w/ Jayne. Did u see the price of her sausage links? $94.98.
Why would sausage links be $95? Am I missing something?

The price of the sausage she's hawking is beyond RICICULOUS - $95.00 for 24 2oz sausages = 3 lbs. The price is $30 a pound. The people who would buy these have more money than brains

What a rude statement.

If people like those kind of biscuits and want to buy them, that doesn't mean they are brainless.

We all make our own choices on what to buy and don't need to be ridiculed by others.

I would consider buying them if I had a larger crowd to serve.  I've tried making biscuits from scratch and store bought are ok.  It would be fun to try something new.

why would you say that?  I know it's easy to say since we all are online, but gosh, be kind.

@KKlim

The outrageous prices for all meat products is a trickle down effect connected to the going market price for meat right now.

Farmers try to take their cattle, pigs, sheep, etc., to livestock market when prices are high.  Their out of pocket costs to raise an animal to market weight are much higher and they want the highest dollars they can get at market to recoup their expense and make their efforts profitable.

All of this factors in to the price we pay in the grocery store.

@RedTop in my college days I worked at a Hardee's and they were made fresh every morning. It's been a while since I've had any from there but they are very good.  I loved their cinnamon raisin ones.

Biscuits are so easy to make.  2 ingredients and 10 minutes and you can have a batch in the oven.
