I think Milk would heat BUT It would be hard to gage How hot it got and then It would be difficult to clean out the kettle and spout afterwords.

I would use a  pan.

Re: can you heat milk

[ Edited ]

I heat milk in a Pyrex measuring cup in the microwave (for lattes and hot chocolate).  My microwave has an auto reheat feature that I use but I imagine half power on regular timed cook would work.  Just need to experiment until you get it right.

ETA:  Sorry, I need reading comprehension lessons I thought you wanted heating ideas.  Woman LOL

@SharkE  Probably not a good idea. You have to keep an eye on milk to make sure you don't burn it. Also, you would have to thoroughly clean it before boiling water for tea, etc. It looks like it would be hard to clean. I'd use a small sauce pan on the stove to heat milk.  This 1 qt. Revere pan is what I use:

Tea kettles are normally just used for heating water.

Amazon has an electric tea kettle with temperature control.  You can put your hand down in it to clean it good.
