All I have to do is go down the street and buy my peaches at our local orchards. Love my MI peaches!

california peaches have been at sams club for about two months now and they have been big, sweet, juicy......and a bit expensive. 10 for $10 but they have all been perfectly delicious.
our maryland peaches are starting to appear and they have not been big, but the ones i have had have been juicy and sweet.

@ID2, I spend a lot of time in Michigan and love the food products! Best dairy anywhere, especially that Guernsey ice cream.

@sunshine45fellow Marylander here. One of our local farmers with a produce stand has developed the most delicious peach that I have ever tasted. They are only available toward the end of August and for a week or two at most.
They are called Cal Ripken peaches. If you ever see them in the area, give them a try.
Delicious!!

stopped at a roadside stand last week and they had small, but delicious maryland peaches.....not sure what kind they were though and did not ask.
i wonder if all this rain will help the peach crop?

Haven't been to Sam's for at least 3 wks, need to go and see what they have too.
I have to drive a little out of my way since they closed the Sam's that I used to go to but nevertheless, what's not to like about warehouse shopping....
maybe because I have to buy a 12 pc case. One down, 11 more to go!
