I know this discussion has been talked about for many years, so sorry folks here we go again as I did not pay attention.

I am tired of  lifting heavy dishes in all kinds of fancy square, octogan and you name it whatever sizes available I have purchased over the years.  I am not a Chef nor cook but now it's not only that it's this hefty ceramic weight on top of it in all sizes of dishes that feels like stone bricks - done.

So I picked one up at Publx  called "Corelle" to give it a try, Wow I'm impressed. Today I purchased a salad plate and a little pasta bowl I would say last week.  Weightless it was and wonderful. Easy clean up too and not sticky.  This was the best  of all.

Would you purchase a set of 4 for this Corelle dinner wear?  Thanks.  I found it great after purchasing 2 pieces of this after hearing it about it for so many years,

This one is called  pure white "crystal"?? Not sure.  It is white.  Bet I can find a set on Amazon.  Thank you for your help.

As long as it does not show scratches I'm all in with this brand the little I do cook. Thank you.

I love Corelle dish wear, have used it since I got married 50 years ago. I still own some of the first set I bought and have bought a second set. They have some beautiful design's that I really like but, I can't justify buying another set.

Re: CORELLE DISH WEAR

[ Edited ]

I have been using Corelle for years. I got tired of the heavy stoneware long ago.

I have the Rosemarie pattern. My set has 8 each 12" or so dinner plates, salad plates, dessert bowls, soup/cereal bowls.

I also have 8 of the smaller white 10" or so plates, 4 white serving platters, 4 white serving bowls.

I have never cared for the feel of Corelle.  I like heavy dishes, heavy drinkware, large solid flatware, etc.

Just my preference.
