Do you use Butter? Margarine? Or something else?

I love butter and use too much  Smiley Sad   So I started using other things like Smart Balance or others with olive oil.

Recently went back to real butter. Trying to use less Smiley Happy

That's funny u mention that. I grew up using butter -- then went to Smart Balance and other similar margarines. For the last several years, it's butter all the way. I buy butter in bulk from Costco - and freeze it.

Kerrygold salted, buy in Costco.  Years ago I bought a butter boat here on the Q. One of my best purchases. I keep the butter out and use it.

@kivah

You said you buy butter in bulk at Costco and freeze it.....

I do the same thing, although the Costco price per pound isn't always less than picking up a pound of salted or unsalted  butter when  on sale at Kroger or Aldi or another store.

I shop for butter at all types of stores.  Being able to freeze it and take out a stick at a time is very convenient.

I only shop at Costco - and I just glance at the price. I know it's usually a better quality, larger size and reasonably priced. I would never have the patience to clip coupons or price compare. Occasionally, I pick up a few items at the small Walmart because that's where I pick up my prescriptions. I'm also into ordering from Costco's same day or next day deliveries. I'm expecting 2 items to be delivered today - that I ordered a few days ago on-line. Sooo convenient.
