I just bought a stainless steel one from *gasp* Temu that sits on my countertop.

I love it - It's perfect, and it holds a loaf of bread as well as a pkg of Hamburger Buns.

Oh, and it was under $20.

I've had one for years..don't use it for bread..I keep all our daily meds in it instead of all over the counter..Also keep a time list for the meds..So my kids would know when to dole them out.

I have a bread box that I keep supplements in not bread. I really only eat toast in the morning so I keep the bread in the fridge.

My new bread box from Amazon will arrive next Wednesday. It's a two layer, and has a little drawer at the bottom where I could store some measuring spoons etc. On top I can put our salt and pepper shakers etc.  Bread on the bottom shelf, butter and other things on the second one. Really looking forward to getting it.  I make the bread, cut it all up with electric knife, and put half in the freezer and half out to eat, using my bread machine for the kneading. Works well.  Thanks for your responses.

I like the looks of a bread box but they take up too much counter space for me.

I've considered buying one as I bake bread. But they're not air-tight and they take up a lot of counter space. They are a cute way to hold other things like daily meds.

I don't have one, no.  A while back I saw a relly pretty one at walmart and it was from the pioneer woman line.  It really tempted me but it would not go in my kitchen and really I had no place for it.

Bread box came yesterday and my husband got it all assembled.  I love it!! It holds lot and my counter is so clean where before stuff was all around there now they all have it's place.  The box has a shelf, Bread is on the bottom, on top of shelf is the butter dish and choregirls, and disc for food processor, the drawer at the bottom is partitions, and I have our measuring spoons in there.  On top of it I have the salt and pepper shakers (Tupperware ones, the tall ones) and the Dawn Dishwashing Detergent.  Love it!!!

It wasn't that expensive and so very useful.
