I am more than excited about In the Kitchen with David coming to Barksdale AFB for several reasons...first I have been with QVC since 1990 and my kitchen is filled with your products second Barksdale AFB (then Bossier Base) is where my parents met, were engaged and married, as was my mothers sister and her husband. As a a professional storyteller I want to share with you the story of how in 1928, then Bossier Army Base, Barksdale AFB came to be. I am thrilled you will come to Louisiana and share her heritage.... A "Lagniappe" of food and wonderful people! Please tell me how do I get my tickets? For this is one wonderful night of cooking I do not want to miss! Thank you!

Do they still have those huge old B-52s hanging out there? It used to be a thrill for me to drive by and see them.

Yeah, those B-52's were/are huge! I used to marvel at how they even ever got off the ground. Hubby is retired AF. He worked on the jets though.
