We only have Sam's here:
Fresh mushrooms
Organic salad greens
Organic milk
Single package wipes to clean glasses
They have a nice selection of cheese

We belong to both Costco and Sams's. There seem to be items at each that the other does not have.
Costco used to have nice affordable jewelry but lately I see more wearable items at Sam's.
Fresh steaks and tri-tips at both.
Costco rotisserie chicken.
Fresh produce at both.
Bread and buns.
Kitchen appliances and TV's.
Cheese.
TP and paper towels.
Gasoline.
Individually wrapped chicken breasts at Costco.
Good variety of frozen fish at both.

BJ's has the WORST rotisserie chicken I have ever tasted! I bought one when we first joined, and that was the last.
Costco muffins are dangerous!

We do not have BJ's here, but I wish we did. We had one where I used to live, and it is by far my favorite. I still order some things (primarily coffee) through their website.
I am a member of Costco, and we buy butter, eggs., milk, cheese, nuts, croissants, bagels, ribs, brisket, and chicken breasts there. We also buy dishwasher detergent, laundry detergent, and parchment paper.
I am not a member of Sam's. I did try it for a year, and I found nothing there that I could not get at Costco. I also find the pricing to ultimately be higher than Costco, so I let the membership expire.
We dropped our Costco membership when we joined BJ's. Costco sells larger bulk items, and we found that fresh food was going bad. BJ's also has a larger variety and more items that we like.
Costco sells 6 pounds of ground turkey in 1 pound packages. BJ's sells 4 pounds of ground turkey in 3 1.33 pound packages. BJ's is easier on my freezer.
Costco sells 5 pound bags of two or 3 variety of apples. BJ's sells 3 pound bags of 8 apple varieties.

Croissants
Muffins
Madelines Soft Butter Cookies
Aussie Organic Bites
Pecan, Pumpkin & Apple Pies (for holidays)
Chocolate (Lindt Truffles, Toblerone, for holidays)
Seasonings
Cat Litter
Paper Towels/Toilet Paper
Small Appliances
Throws (for couch & bed)
Ibuprofen
Gift Certificates
Christmas Gifts!
There's more, I'm sure I'll remember right after I pot this☺️
BJ's sells Cottonelle toilet paper, which is my favorite. That was another big plus when we joined.
They stopped selling Gain pods (laundry detergent) for some reason. I tried the BJ's brand pods, but had to add too much other stuff to make it worth the price.

When I buy the rotisserie chicken, I cut a few slices for a meal, then I take the rest of the meat & put it in a Lock 'n Lock container and freeze it for a chicken pot pie later down the road. I then put the carcass & some veggies in a pot and make stock. I get my $5 worth outta that chicken, that's for sure!

Please do tell...What is BJ's? I have not heard of them...
It's an east coast club store. They sell the same things that Costco does, but in smaller quantities. They also have a wider variety. They take credit/debit cards also. The gas prices are the same.

I also like frozen organic blue berries, Kirkland frozen shrimp, cod and salmon. Kirkland sangria is the best. Apparently it's seasonal, so our store won't be getting any until May. Frozen French onion soup. It's seasonal too, so it should be coming back soon. Frozen organic cauliflower. Frozen vegetable medley.
GCR, did you get the recall letter from Costco about the frozen vegetables? BJ's was affected by that also.
I love the frozen peppers and onions from BJ's. I use them for so many dishes. The sweet peas are also good.
