We haven't done this in a while.  What are your favorite buys from the big box stores?

I'm a member of BJ's.  I love their peeled garlic, bagged kale, gala apples, pistachio lovers mix, ground turkey, frozen peppers and onions, generic Claritan, shallots, frozen salmon patties, plastic cutlery and simmer sauces.

Re: BJ's/Costco/Sam's Club Buys

I'm a Costco member.  My favorites are their rotisserie chicken, chicken salad, croissants, muffins, pies (especially their pumpkin), batteries, vegetable oil, vanilla extract.  Haaaaaa, I think that I should take a breather here!!!

I just buy ingredients the vast majority of the time. So milk, meat, butter, eggs, vegetables, coffee. The Kirkand vanilla ice cream at Costco is very good though.

Re: BJ's/Costco/Sam's Club Buys

We do not have BJ's here, but I wish we did.  We had one where I used to live, and it is by far my favorite.  I still order some things (primarily coffee) through their website.

I am a member of Costco, and we buy butter, eggs., milk, cheese, nuts, croissants, bagels, ribs, brisket, and chicken breasts there.  We also buy dishwasher detergent, laundry detergent, and parchment paper.

I am not a member of Sam's.  I did try it for a year, and I found nothing there that I could not get at Costco.  I also find the pricing to ultimately be higher than Costco, so I let the membership expire.

It's similar to costco/sams.  It's a club store located on the east coast.  My mother goes to one in CT.  She likes it because they have a lot of handicap parking and a deli.  Other than that, it's like the other clubs.

Re: BJ's/Costco/Sam's Club Buys

I'm a Costco member.  I buy the Mac & cheese in the prepared foods.  I take one tray and put it in six lock and locks and freeze it.  I take it to work for lunch.  I also like frozen organic blue berries, Kirkland frozen shrimp, cod and salmon.  Kirkland sangria is the best.  Apparently it's seasonal, so our store won't be getting any until May. Frozen French onion soup.  It's seasonal too, so it should be coming back soon.  Frozen organic cauliflower.  Frozen vegetable medley.
