I still spiralize quite often.  I do NOT think it squeezes all the juices out of the veg at all!  The flavor on most veg comes from the spices as I find all veg bland w/o spices!

The pre-spiralized veg are SO overpriced at our Wegmans!  I always do myself.

@GenXmuse

I have the hand held Veggetti which only works on perfectly size veg IMHO.  If you have a zucc that diameter, perfect!  If not, cutting the veg in an attempt to use doesn't work well.

I also have  the

OXO Good Grips Tabletop Spiralizer from BBB.  It comes with several attachments, locks down on the counter securely, and accommodates any size/type of veg. It is a hand crank but very easy to use and MUCH less exp. than the Kitchen Aid attachment.  It is my fav!  I gave as gifts and it was well received by all.

My Fav recipe is an adaptation of a Cod Recipe I found on Weg.com

Spiralize zucc and carrots.  Add red pepper strips if desired.

Saute in chix broth, lemon juice, white wine with my fav seasonings (S&P, tarragon, dill etc.)  Add artichokes, kalamata olives, capers and lemon slices..

Pan grill chix breast or my fav...SEA BASS and serve on top.

DELICIOUS and kinda healthy!

Re: Are You Still Spiralizing?

I need kindergartner simple.  If I can't figure out how to use it by looking at it, it ends up donated or in a consignment auction.  That's where mine went.  Keeping the directions with the item seems beyond my capabilities.

Re: Are You Still Spiralizing?

I love spiralizing and have "zoodles" with my own spaghetti sauce frequently.  I have the Wolfgang electric spiralizer and it serves me well.  Not sure if it is still available.

THANKS belatedly to all who replied!  It's always interesting to hear what others are doing (or wrestling with!  LOL!) in the kitchen!

I still use my Ninja spiralizer, but tend to forget about it.

Re: Are You Still Spiralizing?

I have one for my KA. I really thought I'd use it more than I do. I use it for zucchini noodles and had hoped it would work for yam/sweet potato noodles but it doesn't. I think I may need a different blade to make it work for them but I haven't wanted to buy one. I feel like I spent enough on this thing already! It's one of those things that I just wouldn't buy again.
