We bought one for our KitchenAid mixer, used it a few times and quit. So I wondered how many of you still spiralize and do you have a favorite recipe?
OR, is it garage sale time next spring? LOL!!!

I still spiralize but I have the Veggie Bullet and only use it for squash and zucchini. I don't have any favorite recipes and just saute grill, or steam the squash and zucchini with a little butter (Paula Dean portion size) and seasoning!

I still use mine for zucchini noodles. I'm doing more of a ketogenic/low carb diet these days, so it is so important when I want a pasta to sub there. I saute them in a bit of butter and/or bacon/pancetta fat. Then I top. I make different size noodles with yellow summer squash too.

Yes, I love that thing. Here's one of my favorite recipes: https://www.savorylotus.com/thai-red-curry-sweet-potato-noodles/

@Sooner Not so much these days. I bought a plastic spiralizer at a discount store for $10. For the most part I made zoodles for chicken zoodle soup. That works well. However, after seeing @Glittergal recipe for the Thai soup, I'm going to bring it out again this weekend. Thanks!

Never bought a spiralizer because I bought several different veggies spiralized by the supermarket and I found them tasteless. Not sure why that would be, but it made me decide to use the knives I already own!

I love spiralized veggies but haven’t found a good tool for it.

I don't have a KA spiralizer, but my niece does. She uses it a lot. She brings something at every family function made on this machine....everything from apple pie that looks like rose pie to zuchinni lasagne.

I don't have one so can't vote - - but to me It 'appears' to produce food with more eye appeal than flavor. If you squeeze all juices out - what's left?

I use my KA spiralizer attachment at least once a week to make zoodles. For stir fry, chow mein, chow fun, ramen zoodle soup. Zoodles are a heathy alternative to flour based pastas like spaghetti and lasagna noodles. Also I use it for making fruit jerky. And a lot of other things.
You can send me yours if you no longer find a reason use it. ![]()
