Anyone buying the Genius TSV?

It looks interesting but never had a Genius product so don't know the quality. Wondering what others think.

I haven't ordered yet, but that doesn't mean I won't. I'm tempted....kitchen gadgets always tempt me. I'm thinking about that egg cooker that MarkCharles Misili hawks, too.

tempting but as I just cleared out a ton of stuff, will pass but I think by the time I add S/H + tax it is close to $47+, sobering

not a lot of chatter about this one at all

Not getting the TSV as I have enough gadgets already to do most of what this will do. This is a note for JeanLouiseFinch....I love that little egg cooker from MC Misili. Do all my hard boiled eggs with this cooker. Breakfast soft boiled so much easier now, too.

I haven't ordered it yet but tempted. I have other Genius choppers, etc that I use. I just wish you could purchase extra bowls.

I do not have the item number but purchased the original big slicer item but had issues using due to hand and wrist problems but so wanted to make it work. Then they came out with K40183 the smaller 6 cup smart slicer. I thought with the small size that I could hold this and beable to use it but same problems so no more gadets for me.

I use 2 of the other Genius TSV's almost daily - I love them. But, this one doesn't really interest me since it's kind of like a manual cuisinart, and since I have a cuisinart, and use it often, I don't think I have the need for this.

I haven't watched the presentation yet, but just looking at the photos and description I'd have a problem finding a place to store everything that comes with it.

Yeah, I'm wondering about storage too. I am tempted as I could use something like this. It would save me time in prepping. But I'm wondering how often I'd use it as I'm not into cooking much.......

Re: Anyone buying the Genius TSV?

I'm tempted too. This time of year especially. Although chopping veggies for soups and stews in the winter would be a quicker task with the TSV.

I have a plastic mandoline that is losing its sharpness and was thinking about getting another one. The chopper blades will cut down on the onion and garlic smell my hands pick up while slicing and chopping too.

Still thinking - afraid of plastic gadgets. They never seem to work the way they are supposed to. I also noticed that Chef Tony wasn't always getting the results he was describing this morning either. I think I'll wait for reviews - even though it will be more money after today. It will certainly be in the 'as seen on TV' section of my local CVS within six months!
