Re: Any one get their Rangemate TSV yet?

DD's came today. She will pick it up after work, and probably not use it until the weekend as she cooks on weekends for the week. Saves her a ton of time when she gets home in the evenings. I'll see how she likes it and post.

Do you need to preheat this grill for 5 min. every time you use it? Dusty, did you preheat it for the chicken strips?

Mine supposedly shipped on the 26th but still hasn't been received by the first UPS location. Frustrating.

Mine said shipped early afternoon on 6/27, but it's been sitting 4 days with just a label created. CS told me it was shipped but it just wasn't scanned at the first hub, but UPS said not so. I guess I just have to wait until they actually give them the package. I agree it's so frustrating, especially when you're anxious to receive something!

The reviews on both RangeMates also haven't been updated for 4 days. I'm sure with tens of thousands sold there's more than 13 reviews. CS said they are usually updated daily. Have no idea what's going on with this...sigh! With all this, I hope the darn thing fits in my small 700 watt microwave. If I had known about this product before, I would have gotten a bigger, better microwave.

I think I'd believe QVC on this one. Mine is finally out for delivery today, it was NEVER scanned in to the NC UPS hub - went straight from enroute to NC hub to received in Maumee OH hub yesterday. This has been happening a lot lately, and not just with things I've ordered from QVC, but also HSN. It's a UPS problem that seems to be getting worse. It used to only happen at the SC UPS hub, but now NC and TN.

Mine is out for delivery today. Tracking showed it taking several days to make it to the UPS facility, but, whatever.{#emotions_dlg.confused1} I printed out all the recipes on line and am waiting . . .

Good luck, I've been seeing the original ones showing up at the Thrift stores. The inner coating appears to wear off. Not a good sign.

Oh no!! Now that's not a good sign at all. I wonder if these people abused theirs?

Did I hear Carolyn say you could pop popcorn in the RangeMate? It looks too small for that. I'm sure I heard that at the beginning of the video.

I called the RangeMate company on another matter, and mentioned the reviews saying the coating was coming off on the inside of the cover. They acknowledged the problem and said it was corrected, and it shouldn't be an issue on this newer model at all. I'm not sure if the rectangular ones still have the cover issue. I also asked if they were the same company as MicroHearth, and they said no, but were connected at some point. The units that company is selling, and that are on Amazon, are the all older models.

{#emotions_dlg.thumbup} Got mine today! Couldn't wait to grill some vegetables...... AWESOME!!!! Can't believe how great they turned out! The recipe booklet has some good recipes but you can find more if you google 'range mate grilled vegetables' ... the 5th one down is called 'RangeMateUSA' grilling chart for meats .... and it's the recipe booklet from the first rectangular grill, more recipes there. I think I'm gonna like this!
