Anne Burrell To Open Cheetos Themed Restaurant . . . :(

Maybe I am being a wet blanket here but I am disappointed that Anne Burrell is involved in opening a Cheetos themed restaurant in NYC (please note it is only a pop up restaurant). Based on the shows and competitions I have watched her in she is very talented, this just kind of bums me out she would get involved in this although it is rather fun . . .

@phoenixbrd for me it just so tarnishes everything I have seen her do/cook through the years. She was always about fresh, well sourced ingredients so this for me is just a money/fame grab and I would think so beneath her. Just truly bummed she is doing this as the whole thing is just gross. Bummer.

It's because so many people eat junk and baby food today. Adult food is out of style. Being an adult is out of style too.

Wow, rough crowd. As a Cheetos fan , of course I know it isn't health food, I love them so every few months I splurge. I assure you , the rest of the time I cook good meals, using healthy ingredients, but once in awhile I have fun with food. I guess that means I'm not an adult. Tough.

More than fair point @QVCkitty1 it just gives me the ooouugies that a chef as talented as Anne Burrell is signed up for this.

Oh make no mistake my friend @QVCkitty1 I would be the first to line up outside said restaurant as I love me some Cheetos, it just bummed me out a bit that Anne would go in this direction but perhaps I am being a meanie and not seeing it for perhaps what it was intended, just a brief pop up celebrating all that is wonderful for those that love Cheetos . . .

But I still wish she hadn't put her name on it . . . .
