I've heard that rolled fondant is edible, but it appears to be very stiff. 

I attended a baby shower where a fondant-topped cake was featured.  The lady in charge of the shower told the gathering to take a look at the cake before the frosting was removed.  Pieces of the fondant were placed in a box beside the unadorned cake.  We were served pieces of the underlying lemon cake with a dollop of lemon whipped cream.

That first one, the sewing machine is amazing.  They really do create art.

Wow!  I couldn't cut into that.  I'd want to preserve them for decorating somewhere in the house.  

Anything that could be injected to preserve them.  I don't know, just thinking.
