It would be nice if David gave cooking instructions on using the air fryer when he does a recipe.  I am learning by trial and error, most ly error.  I understand Meredith Laurence has a cookbook for the air fryer coming out to n December.  I  need help now! LOL!

I was disappointed in the small cookbook that came with the one I got here.  Meredith has one on Amazon that may be the one she was talking about but it didn't seem like there were many normal recipes.  I did get a cookbook from EVINE but was also disappointed in it as most of the recipes are things I wouldn't care to make.  They need simple more normal recipes on the basics and could then give additional tips for making special recipes from the basics.  One thing I read says sausage shouldn't be cooked in an air fryer but then I saw sausage and green peppers being made  in one.  The one I got has preset buttons for things but say for chicken it seems like it would depend on what pieces and how big they are so there would be no one size fits all.

HI Pook, I've made Italian sausage with peppers and onions, they came out great!  I didn't have a recipe but I did remember BJC saying she cooked them at 380 but she didn't give how long she cooked them, so I used an instant read thermometer until I got the temp I wanted.  I posted my recipe on the Recipe board.  Many times when I have a recipe but I don't like the ingredients, I will use the technique and make the recipe mine own.  So if you want to make chicken wings but you don't like buffalo wings, you just put on the seasoning you want and use the temp and length of time to cook. I also posted a couple of different wings I made in the Recipe group.  You can also Google recipes for the AF, a lot will come up including videos.  We are learning this new way of cooking with an Air Fryer.  Feel free to ask and maybe someone can help.  There are also Facebook AF groups too.  Smiley Happy

OP, try the Phillips Air Fryer site: their manual has some pretty generic ideas of what you can do with a AF.  Pinterest is another great source.  I have found all kinds of recipes by entering "air fryer" then naming the specific food or recipe I am interested in making.
