BTW, we just had a family reunion at our house during the summer.... 20 people... I did the same as you for breakfast, and had "make it yourself" bars for lunch and dinner. I really like the idea upthread with the hearty soup and bread and a big salad bar, then offer meats, vegs (I like offering corn on the cob in small portions), offerings like that...
Stay calm (I know the feeling)... everything will turn out wonderful and you'll have a great time~!

I suggest alcohol. Lots and lots of alcohol. Starting now.
Seriously, you sound like a very gracious hostess who will take some of these wonderful suggestions and ensure your guests will have an enjoyable time.

I wouldn't serve them. It's one thing to have some honest dietary restrictions (Kosher, allergies, diabetes, etc), but quite another to say "I only eat during certain hours" or "fish is slimy." I'd say that they are on their own and you will be happy to take them to the nearest grocery store to pick out their own meals, which they will be cooking themselves.

You could always order food from QVC.

Thanks for all your suggestions! I think we will just do some of the different type of "do-it-yourself" bars that were suggested for lunch if we eat in.
I called my Jewish SIL a little while ago and found out that they can eat off our plates and from things cooked in our pots and pans, but I also found out that my new niece-in-law who hates fish is also allergic to all nuts. (There go a couple ingredients that I thought could be used in a vegetarian casserole or two...oh well.)
Also, I'm about to annihilate my husband, who just told me that one of my nieces called this afternoon. She is in college in Baltimore and heard we were having relatives visit next week. Her school will be on break, and she wanted to know if she could fly out, as she has never met her cousins who will be visiting. (My family is spread out all over the U.S.) He told her, "Oh, sure...the more the merrier!" I gave him a glare that could kill. He just said, "What was I supposed to tell her?! Besides, she is Christian and will eat anything." OMG!!
I just smiled and told him that we were bringing in help for the next week and a half, as I can't handle it all. I'm supposed to get a little fun out of visiting with my relatives...not work my tail off! I'll let you know how it all turns out.

I would make chili but serve the meat, cheese, and macaroni in separate serving bowls. Add a nice salad, loaf of bread and serve fresh fruit and ice cream for dessert (separate of course). Good luck!

i totaly agree
Either that, or let each bring their own supplies and do their own cooking. You're their hostess, not their servant.
