Does anyone have a really good garlic press... one in which you can put the clove without peeling and ALL the minced garlic comes out the front, where it's supposed to?  If so, please tell me the brand.  I'd like to order one on Amazon.  TIA!

@spent2much We have one that looks like the Zyliss Sussi 3 or the 2 in 1 Garlic Press Amazon sells.  It is about $20 and we've had it for ever. I think we bought it at Williams-Sonoma.  Probably the Zyliss would be better

We had a Sussi 35 years ago, very simple, and it worked great as well!

The best garlic press I have ever had/used is the one by the Pampered Chef. Works every time.

I also have this one.  But I picked up a Kuhn Rikon garlic press at a going out of business sale a couple years ago, and I think I like it better.

@spent2much

I gave up doing the garlic press thing: I now buy a jar of minced garlic in water.  If I want it smaller, I have a tiny Cuisinart and just liquefy it....no bits and pieces !

OXO Good Grips garlic press.  Ordered on Amazon after seeing it recommended on America's Test Kitchen and glad I did. No need to.peel and looks like it'll last longer than the other inferior ones I've thrown out in the past.

Zyliss.  It's a good little garlic press.

This is my go to now, too.  It’s handy and simple.  I rarely do it, but if I want smaller, I’ll put some on the cutting board and smash it with the side of a big knife and a whack from my hand.

@spent2much  I recently purchased, from Amazon, the OXO soft-handled garlic press - the one for $16.95 (Amazon Choice) and it's great.

We also have one of those curved ones you rock back and forth and it is awful.

Go with Zyliss Susi (sp?)!  We have had 2 of those in about 40 years and they work well!

The first one we had was one we saw on the Frugal Gourmet (who turned out to have severe problems but was very popular long ago).
