So funny!  It reminds me of 'Cake Wrecks'.  If you ever want to laugh until you are sore, check out that website.   Like with this, the comments are often funnier then the actual cakes.

Oh CB couldn't agree more, that site is sidesplitting . . . Smiley Happy

To this day, the 'naked mohawk-baby carrot jockeys' cake makes me laugh until I'm sick.  The remarks are classic

I guess you can't c&p here anymore, but here it is -

Re: 35 Heartbreaking Food Fails

Hi @momtochloe,

I was laughing so hard looking at the photos and reading the comments, that I had tears coming out of my eyes! Smiley LOL

Thanks for posting the link! I needed a really good laugh!

I stick to simple baked items. I know better from experience, than to try something that I think is going to be too complicated for my own baking skills and level.

I can relate to some of these poor souls trying some of these projects.

I've had things not turn out, and I was just thankful that I wasn't baking them to take to a party or other function.

I think that's why I was just laughing so hard, from being able to relate to others, and knowing my own failures! Smiley Wink

Hi @chickenbutt,

It has been a long time since I looked at that site.

I forgot about it. Thanks for the reminder! I have forgotten how funny it was, to look over there. I was laughing over the comments and the photos, when I took a look over there.

There is some funny stuff posted over there, too! Smiley Happy

Re: 35 Heartbreaking Food Fails

I have learned a VERY long time ago that it never looks like the picture in the cookbook, and have given up trying to make it look like that. They have food stylist and have many  examples waiting in the wings and pick the best looking to photograph. As long as it's edible, I'm happy.

This one speaks to me, @momtochloe !  Lol!

Oh @Gokat me too!  I would have thrown that thing across the room at layer four . . . God bless you folks that have the patience to put together a beautiful cake like this and also bless those of us that quite possibly will never successfully make this cake in our lifetime . . . Smiley Happy

OMG @momtochloe and @Gokat, this is my every pinterest try and fail!! I love these MTC, so darn funny! I feel better about myself!
