I bought one pair and sent them back. Haven't seen them.

@Group 5 minus 1....they were called "Ear Climbers"...  I don't think that "fad" lasted long, IMO.

@shell garden  Yep. Another trend that came and went. FYI, according to my newest jewelry journals, the “bitsy” trend may be going in favor of bigger pieces, but not back to the huge statement necklaces. I’ve packed mine away in bubble wrap. Everything comes back around eventually.

@Group 5 minus 1 they were called ear climbers. Tiffany's has a pair from Paloma Picasso available from her olive leaf collection in sterling, rose gold and yellow gold.

I don't consider climbers to be a fad. I think they are just another style of earring to wear. I have a few different ones and wear them occasionally. 

ot - What I've been seeing a lot of is the 'line' or 'stick' stud earrings. They're like a sliver of metal on the lobe...simple and elegant. I had to get a pair and I love them. Mine are white gold.

Another fad were threaders. Looked dangerous to me. One pull and you wound up with two earlobes on one ear. QVC sold them.

I like them they are diffent and fun.  I have a couple of them.  

I sish that they mad more.
