I was happy to see the positive reviews in this thread, so I ordered these in the yellow clad.

They are happy, special and ornate (via the texturing) - yet casual all at the same time.

They never fail to brighten my face, and my day! Truly "black tie to blue jeans, and everything in between."

I gave a pair of these earring to my DD#2 this afternoon. She loved them! She likes that they are sparkly & something she can wear everyday....anywhere. She now has about 6 pieces of JR jewelry that I've purchased for her. She said she likes this jewelry because it doesn't tarnish. I also like that feature.

Is the stone size overwhelming?

Does the 14kt cladl ean towards the brassy 18kt color or is it a match to the 14kt color?

I have the silver version. The middle stone is definitely not overwhelming....just a perfect size. And there is smaller stones surrounding the middle stone.

The yellow clad is a buttery shade - I find it goes with both 14kt and 18kt. It's an in the middle shade of gold, yet warm enough to be noticeable IMO.
