Good afternoon and happy Saturday to us all.

After a week of intense rain which caused several spot flooding in areas, today is a breath of fresh air - literally and figuratively. Winds from the NW and 75 and not a rain cloud to be found. Yay!

The packages have trickled in, little by little. A few to return, but many more to treasure for their chic beauty. I hope to post reviews sometime next week.

Out of the blue on Tuesday, DTGD decided it was time to pretend to be a cheerleader, and so she did. I am amazed that I kept it together to be able to capture it in video, which I posted on FB, for it was spot on and so funny. She went through a full blown "terrible twos" slot with her Pop Pop this week and he wasn't amused. I had to remind him how cooperative she has been and the "terribles" have to pop up sometime, just so that she can grow emotionally. Of course, I'm so happy it wasn't with me.

Off to wrap b-day gifts and read the paper.
