@nycgrl  Why don't you look for a black spinel tennis bracelet?   I have one that sparkles like crazy but is substantial and has a sturdy clasp.   It happens to be one of Chuck's,  but they should be widely available.   I also have a matching tennis necklace.   They could easily be taken for diamonds.

I agree Kachina, I have a little elephant bracelet I purchased from Evine and it has black spinel and although small those little spinels sparkle.  NYCgrl I would definitely try a black spinel bracelet.

I have several pieces of black spinel from a variety of TV sources, QVC, Evine, and including Gemporia and LC.  The quality of all has been excellent.  These are so nice black diamonds don't even tempt me.  And "break in time" probably translates to "break time."

Did I understand this right?  Chuck used to be on QVC in England?  I'll check back here and ask a separate question if no one answers.  He seems so dedicated to Evine and its predecessors.

I would take this bracelet to a jeweler to make sure the ct weight is correct. I see that Evine only offers one black tennis bracelt in this ct weight. I checked because I thought if it came in different ct weights they may have sent you the wrong one. It could also look small because their isn't much metal to it.

I agree with the other people who posted. Black spinel really does sparkle and it costs so much less than black diamonds.

What a disapointment. I'm sorry this happened to you. Hopefully you can find another bracelet with black diamonds that really stand out, or give black spinel a try.
