I bought Evine's TTV of Chuck's black diamond bracelet for my mother for Christmas - the 3 carat one.  Two years ago I bought her a 3 carat white tennis bracelet in white gold (not on TV) and thought this would look nice next to it.  OMG it is awful.  Can I say cheap.  The bracelet doesn't even bend.  It sparkles like crazy, but the catch is miniscule and the bracelet itself is tiny.  Doesn't even look like 1 carat nevermind 3.  It's packed and going back.  Now what to get my mother?

Did anyone else buy one?  The reviews are mixed.  I got a dud Woman Frustrated

@nycgrl  Why don't you look for a black spinel tennis bracelet?   I have one that sparkles like crazy but is substantial and has a sturdy clasp.   It happens to be one of Chuck's,  but they should be widely available.   I also have a matching tennis necklace.   They could easily be taken for diamonds.

I know exactly how you feel. I love watching Chuck's shows and have ordered from his line over the years. The last two items I ordererd had to be sent back also. One was a yellow diamond ring, it was so small I couldn't see the diamonds. The other piece was a bracelet and the peridots were lifeless. I don't know what is going on with his items?

I agree with the previous poster, I'd check out the black spinel on JTV or Evine. Good Luck!

@Lenny  Chuck's jewelry is definitely hit or miss,  more miss than hit.   I have gotten a few nice pieces.

Years ago he used to be on QVC in England and his items were really nice.  I got some beautiful Mystic Topaz earrings set in 14K back then (over 15 years ago).

Now whenever I watch the shows (rarely anymore) nothing seems to be even close to the old quality.  It's such a shame that things seem to go that way.

@nycgrl  If it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck, it's a duck. Just chalk it up to life lesson.

ITA with Kachina, black spinel is a fabulous sparkler without a price tag . If you talk TV shopping Sonia B.'s black  and other diamonds are the best.  I have very few pieces by Chuck, he is mostly miss and his rings are all spinners, he doesn't care about the balance.

@nycgrl  No dud girl, I truly understand.  I've purchased a couple of items by Chuck C in the past and could not return them quick enough.

I just cannot figure out how his things look so gorgeous on tv yet when you get them they are so TINY you can barely see the stones you wanted.

Let this be your last Chuck purchase.  Don't be tempted anymore in the future for his stuff.  It's just not worth your time, trouble, heartache after you get it, no more returning hassles.

Honestly, it's been years since I bought anything from Chuck, but thought I'd give it one last try since he changed manufacturers and supposedly "upped" his "game" due to complaints.  He said as much himself about how he skimped in the past so I tried.  I looked at the bracelet again this morning and it is a sparkler for sure - just not sure whether to keep - it is small and not maluable. Not sure if it needs break in time - it really is pretty though.  I am so torn which tells me to send it back.

@nycgrl - I took a look at it on the Evine site.  It does have a lovely sparkle and is very pretty.  I zoomed into the linkage, and it looks like they are tightly joined, so it may just be made this way and will not loosen up.  Real diamonds are very expensive these days.  I think I would keep it.  HTH!
