Soulmotiv: I've looked at that watch too.... more than once.
I have quite a 'few' of those Prodivers in various sizes... including 34mm, 38mm and 40mm, like that one. I like the style and the movement and find it very wearable in the 40mm size..
The dial on that particular watch is black, but not mop. I like the way the dial contrasts with the colors on the bracelet and to me it makes the watch look more classic. That multicolor bracelet appeals to me, and is interesting. But given the number of watches I already have, I wonder if I'll look at that iridescent bracelet in a few months and decide I'm over it. And it will only have been worn a few times by then.
As for having watches sized, it's usually something that needs to be done. Either a watch is too large or too small, but rarely just right. Since I prefer bracelets to straps, I'd rather have a longer bracelet and have links taken out vs. worrying about the bracelet being too short. Better watches are generally made in a way that having the bracelet sized is very quick and easy. I'm not suggesting doing it yourself, although some people do. But most jewelers will charge a reasonable price $10 -15 to adjust a bracelet. The smart ones know that getting you into the store to look around is worth making the sizing as painless as possible. Who knows what treasures you will find while you are waiting. They can't sell you anything if you don't walk in the door! And with an automatic watch, like the one we are discussing, you won't have the cost of battery replacement. Something to consider. A watch kiosk in a mall generally has the highest prices. That's all they do, so they have to pay the rent on battery and bracelet sizing fees. Jewelers make their money selling jewelry so they are often more reasonable on service fees. It's worth asking around and comparing prices.

@Soulmotiv8rwrote:Hi @jenagal! Thanks for the welcome. I do have several watches but always on the lookout for a great watch. I checked out 656353. I have actually looked at this watch several times in the past but the bracelet stops me because I thought I would have to spend money to have the bracelet adjusted. It is beautiful and the size is perfect.
I purchased 654-737 but returned it because there was no color on the MOP dial. Also the dial was smaller than I wanted so I'm still searching. You're right...eventually the right watch at the right price will come along. 😜
I don't think I ever purchased a watch with a bracelet that I didn't need to get sized. So I ended up buying an Android kit and have been sizing my own. Some I won't even attempt, like the Swiss Legend Karamica.
Just for the heck of it, I ought to go thru my watches and see just how many are dead. I can't bring myself to do it.

I didn't see an April thread, so just posting here to wish everyone Happy Easter and Passover if you celebrate.
I finally sized an auto Ocean Ghost I had sitting here for months. Other than that, nothing new on the watch front for me.
