Last wk I purchased a cuff from a certian vendors other site...After calling about the measurement, reading the reviews I decided on the size to order. I was going to order both and then send one back. I listened to the person on the phone (big mistake), told me to just order 1 and if it didn't fit to reorder the other size. Well it was HUGE, I got on my computer to order the smaller size. Too my suprise the item I order a wk earlier for $53.99 was now $199.99. I was told if I wanted the smaller size I had to pay the higher price!! I wouldn't get away with that in my line of work...Guess where the cuff is going?

It sounds like it was on a special price for a limited time and now the price is back up. It happens all the time.
I would call them and tell them you want to exchange the bracelet and ask if they can send you the other size, and tell them you will send the other one back. If you don't return the other bracelet then they would charge you the higher price. Or just send the bracelet back with a note to exchange it.
I wouldn't expect to get a sale price from a week ago if I was to order something.

QVC would have done an exchange. For all the griping about them, and I do my share, they wouldn't pull something like this.

It wouldn't surprise me if it was ShopHQ. They change their prices at the drop of a hat.

Dang, corvette, what a ripoff! After you send that cuff back, bet you never wave your credit card in their direction again.

Once Only or Special pricing is limited. They once lost two rings; they were Passage to Israel and I wasn't sure of the fit. The package was held up somewhere over a month. By that time, shop had refunded the money for a lost item and there was no way I was pay full price for the ring. I sent it back.
Unlike Q, their prices fluctuate and they will come back down eventually. Would you rather gotten a $5 discount (like they give out at Q and call it a sale.) Every company has something with about it. I guess that's shops. Q has much higher pricing, less EZ pay and fewer and fewer jewelry items. It is too bad; I would have tried a manager or someone higher up first. If you have been a long-time customer, they will accommodate you within reason.

I suspect she may be talking about CP.com, I've purchased things from there for less than $50 that today I noted were $150. The prices fluctuate wildly there.
