@Group 5 minus 1   I used to watch her years ago, but she was more tolerable then...not now.

@ValuSkr   I think so too, she's very educational to listen to her about all she knows about diamonds.

@Tinkrbl44   When I had my dark hair, I always wore gold jewelry or two-tone pieces. I also have pinkish tones, but consider myself neutral.

When my hair went silver, I thought I couldn't wear gold and put it all in the safety deposit box. Well, it's been several months and I realized that gold or silver, I can wear whatever I want. There are no jewelry police to set a rule about what to wear... gold or silver.

Hair color or skintone shouldn't designate what color jewelry to wear...Choose what you love.

So, better late than never, I became a white metal gal ... platinum, white gold, and of course, sterling silver.

I miss Jill Bauer's silver shows.  I think they used to be in Sundays.  She loved silver and really knew how to explain it so we could make an informed decision.

I miss hosts like Jill who really knew how to present well.

I wear both now and two tone.

@Shanus I agree!  I have always worn gold and silver and combination, whatever I like with what I have on that day.  I have had dark brown hair, blonde and white and I don't see any difference in that or skin tone--maybe more silver when I've been quite tan. . .

I can also say that I never recall seeing someone in jewelry of either color and thinking "Oh my.  That doesn't match their skin tone."  I just don't think 99 percent of the world even thinks about that.

Also, silver is sky high in scrap value now, so inventory may be worth more in scrap than prices people would pay for it.

Re: Thank you for no silver

[ Edited ]

I quit buying white gold because everyone thinks it's silver anyway.  Some exceptions, like the white gold and blue zircon ring I bought maybe five years ago when it was a TSV.  It just didn't look good in yellow gold, to me anyway.  I'm another one who used to take those big jewelry days off, but I worked for myself.

I did too and she was much more of a sales person then because she loves silver too. I have some beautiful poeces that weren't big priced meaning they were very affordable to the average person. Still have them.

@brcala   Maybe you missed it but Robert Manse had a show yesterday that was all silver and there was quite a bit of UltraSilver shown throughout the day.

After having two pieces of UltraSilver break, including a pricey necklace, I've quit buying it.  Seems to not be a quality product.

@Kachina624   Good to know.  I searched UltraSilver and couldn't find anything.  Did see an UltraFine pair of earrings on Recently Aired but only watched the video for less than a minute that's all I could handle lol.  Same thing as UltraSilver?

@rockygems123.  Maybe it's UltraFine Silver?  I don't know.

@Kachina624

Ok thanks.  Just realized that most likely the pieces aren't hallmarked but I always look when buying anyway.
