Did you ever see her ""estate""?? I think she may have gotten greedy because when she brought artisan pieces they were sooo reasonable! But if you noticed later- she put her ""name"" on pieces and the prices went up. Anytime the ""name"" goes on- the prices are inflated. I even saw a pair of earrings ""designed by a woman ( French) designer the other night that I've had for years!!! Yet she claimed to have designed them and of course - quite pricey!
Didn't care for her dancing either- all part of the persona that she had danced for royalty--- ancient history -- and nothing to do with the jewelry.

I always had the impression that she took credit for everything to do with the jewelry which was after all created by the artisans of Bali. She claimed to do all the designs, which I just didn't buy. And I'm just watching the artisan crafted show now (with Peyton Kelly) and he just said that she couldn't come this time but will be here next time.

I was just going to add a thread to see if Suarti happens to be on live today with her new pieces? Unfortunately I am at work, but I really, really, really miss her regular shows and all her beautiful jewelry.

Was never a big fan of Suarti or her jewelry but am saddened to see another vendor and line sort of deep sixed. For me, it's all about options and variety and it seems QVC continues to narrow their focus... I don't think the seeming demise of the Suarti line rests on the heels of Jai... Jai was sort of the follow-up to Angela for John Hardy and both these lines strike me as a bit more finely executed than most of the artisan crafted stuff, even though some of the artisan crafted pieces are very pretty. If you look at the lines that have been discontinued over the past few years, Suarti's seems to be just one more among many: Anne King, Echo of the Dreamer, Seiden Gang, Esposito, just to name a few... and on and on and on...

The LC has artisan crafted shows on occasion and the prices are really good! Nice quality too.
I am also in the minority, I never, ever liked her. I had a bad vibe from her and the dancing, blech. I usually turned the channel when she was on, though I liked the jewelry.
