I have way too much "stuff" I am thinking about ebay, however, I have never done that before. Any tips from experienced sellers or perhaps areas that instruct an inexperienced seller on how to go about this? Sorry if this thread has been done before. If you would be so kind as to direct me then.

That's probably the best way to go.
You can compare pricing there too.
Instead of a garage sale or going to a local consignment place - the world is your market and prices tend to be higher than if you sell locally.
Please note - QVC's JR is considered fashion jewelry on eBay...prices are not as high as you might like to get!

Hi Deanie, before you go to Ebay, why don't you try the Judith Ripka Addicts Forum on Delphi.
I bought some Ripka items that were listed there and you might do well.

That's because QVC's JR is fashion jewelry, by any objective standards........

I agree with you...but many posters seem to think it should be in the Fine Jewelry category.

When it's very lightweight silver and quite often decorated with crystals, yes. The pieces that are all silver and semiprecious, we can call "bridge".

By these standards, David Yurman, John Hardy, and other designers pieces are also considered "costume." Even Chanel makes fashion jewelry. I say don't get hung up on a label of either "fashion" or "fine"...enjoy the pieces for what they are, and if you want to sell them on a secondary market, recognize that any jewelry...whether it be fine or fashion or whatever...will diminish in value.

Gee, I dunno .... when you have featherweight jewelry with simulated gemstones and CZ's costing hundreds of dollars, I call that RIP-OFF!
