Oh.  Well I don't shop at Cartier LOL so I would not know.  Now I am familiar with the blue box as I have purchased their items.

Nothing QVC sells even comes near what Cartier sells. If you want to see what gems are supposed to look like watch gem shopping network or go to their website. Of course their gemstone jewelry cost much much more than what QVC sells. But it is interesting to see the difference.

They aren't legally allowed to say the names Cartier and Tiffany when comparing their jewelry to those legendary stores.  They adapted the code names blue and red box a long time ago when fine gold and silver shows were staples in the regular weekly QVC lineup.

The blue box got fame for a movie but the red had the better jewelry.  And they never made table lamps.

They are always making reference to the store with the red box when comparing their jewelry stating "it looks just as good as the store with the red box but you're not paying their price."  Just like Kim G. says her clothing is so money but you're not paying the price that you would in those expensive designer boutiques.

They are referring to a specific bracelet Cartier created that has locking screws, called the Love bracelet.

It is very trendy and popular, but I think it is too industrial looking for me, and I would never purchase it.

There are knock-offs galore on the Internet.  I actually like the QVC bracelet (Accents by Affinity)--it is silver with a few diamonds.  It reminds me even of the brand called Buccellati Macri bracelet, which I would love to own.

However, I do not wear silver, so I will not buy the QVC option.

We have a Cartier store here in our mall in King of Prussia, and during the holidays you have to make an appointment to shop there!

Cartier is most famous for their beautiful and exotic diamond panther jewelry, and their elegant watches.
