I do think some people are just out to get Shawn. It's Monday night and no matter what she does, it's not going to please those people and that have an agenda.
******************************************************************Karnerblue, you know that was not what was said in the other TWO threads on this subject which YOU participated in.
Those posters had many points concerning how it was inferred that the items had actual healing power and that Shawn and the rep went way over the top in what was reasonable and acceptable in regaurd to selling it as forcefully as they could.
Their words were highly irresponsible.
I didn't see the more recent presentation but in the past it was stated that "you're buying a blessing" which is inappropriate and against church teaching, if you're Catholic. You can't buy a blessing.

The host being discussed here is Shawn Killinger. The discussion is about how she presented religious jewelry including a bracelet on last Monday's PM Style.

I feel the same way. I am a Christian, and I do love jewelry that is a statement of my faith. I have seen many QVC hosts present items of faith, and I felt they did a very nice job, Mary Beth Roe always does a great job. Shawn's presentations feel like an "act" to me. I won't judge her, but all her presentations feel like an act, but the faith related ones seem way over the top. When she presents any item of faith, its almost like she's not a TV shopping host, but its like she's a guest on a talk show sharing and crying. It's just too much and it insults my faith.
