Shawn and some guest is selling a "divine bracelet."They are making claims that a vitamin or fitness vendor would not get away with. It seems so cynical to use someone's faith to sell them jewelry. We used to call it snakeoil.

I am watching the exact same show and I agree with you!!!!!!  DISGUSTING!!

QVC, I expect much more from you.  You need to review the video for j339697.  Totally INAPPROPRIATE!

All I can say is shame on Qvc.  But when it ventured into ridiculous territory, I just changed the channel.

Hello? They are selling religious jewelry and how can you effectively sell it without talking about religion.

Obviously, it's geared towards a certain audience. You're either into it or you aren't.

And if you're not, it's offensive to you.  If it were that offensive, then why watch the show or the video.

I didn't find offensive at all.

Being catholic I can't even begin to say how many trips were taken to see Medjugorjie. Our churches have made trips there it is just what you choose to believe .

What's offensive is QVC is making a profit off the religious aspect of the piece.   It would be different if the proceeds were benefitting charity.  Shawn and the vendor were making all kinds of promises about how owning the bracelet would enhance your spiritual existence, etc.....   all the while it just helps Shawn reach her sales quota and QVC maximize shareholder wealth.   Not right by any stretch.

What is the difference if QVC sells necklaces with a cross on it or a set of rosaries or this bracelet they are there to make a profit . I have purchased a rosary from them, a cross even at one time bought a bible for a friend  now they have this bracelet.
