Re: Selling Jewelry

[ Edited ]

I have made money selling Judith Ripka, Barbara Bixby, Michael Dawkins and Ann King on Ebay.  Even if the amount is what I paid plus shipping, this is fine.  This is better than taking up space in my jewelry box unworn/unused.

I sold some of my 14K and .925 silver pieces to a local gold buyer. I don't want the hassle of selling it myself online.

I think it's better to sell to a local jeweler than selling on eBay.

I would do the same  if I have pieces that I'm not using

You are way better trying to sell on ebay or Poshmark. My consignment shop takes fifty percent which is much higher than either ebay or Poshmark. Many jewelers don't sell used jewelry and they give you squat back if they do. I've bought a lot of Ripka pieces on ebay and poshmark. You can get some good buys there. Don't expect to get what you paid for them. You can search for the pieces and see what others are asking for it.
