on the jewelry show right now on Q@ Mary Beth is showing a Fire Light grown necklace with a 3kt stone...for $7989.98...yes way out of my price range.

But what gets me...they are actually charging S&H.

If I was spending that much...QVC should chip in S&H. (although if I was spending that much on a necklace I don't know if I would be buying it off of the TV)...but something I will never know.

They always charge s&h on the very expensive jewelry. They're stingy.

The way I see it is if you can afford to pay that much for an item then the s&h is not an issue.

definitely you can afford the S&H ...but I guess that wasn't my point.

I just think it wasn't very tasteful or classy (not that QVC is) just kind of tacky .. to make someone pay S&H when they are paying that much for a necklace.

it's just an observation...but no big deal.

It has nothing to do with affording the purchase. They should provide free shipping with that kind of purchase.

This is one of their many issues.

They always announce how many new shoppers just started shopping with QVC. I wonder how many will stay when they realize how expensive it is to return.
