I'm hoping to purchase a pendant for my friend. I want it to have her granddaughter's name and birthstone on it. I'm not much of a jewelry wearer or purchaser and I have no clue where to start looking. I know we can't post links here, but if anyone could discreetly direct me to a website or source I would be very grateful.

I got a personalized necklace for my 11 year old GD. Almost two years ago from Etsy. She has never taken it off even in the shower. It was a plated one and on the back I wrote Love, G. They have several vendors and it was quick to receive.

Asheville Mall there is/was an engraving store.  They carry things to engrave too.  "Things Remembered" if I remember correctly.
