Caught a show on HSN last night with her new jewelry line.  Was attracted to a necklace, but was wary because of the price. It is the 20" Stone Lock & Key Drop Necklace, item 653-178.

It came in 2 colors... a pink/red rhodonite and a lovely turquoise.  I quickly ordered the turquoise for 2 reasons:

1 - it was going fast (it's now sold out), and

2-  Patricia Nash said it was REAL turquoise. The host even questioned her on that as the note card said it was synthetic, But PN stated it was real.

I cancelled the necklace this morning after I was able to get online and read more details.  The description clearly states:

Rhodonite (genuine rhodonite) or Turquoise-Color (simulated turquoise)

Now maybe she was confusing the genuineness of the rhodonite with the turquoise, but I still was not happy about the false info given on camera. I knew that if the turquoise was real, there was no way it could sell for $90.  I need to trust my gut more often...lol

@madzonie   I liked the necklaces too. Love that organic flow of gemstones.   There was confusion right from the get-go during the presentation as they didn't have the necklaces on display for the host to present.  When they finally showed the necklaces on the models the jewelry rep insisted the turquoise was real & the host was incorrect.  In any case the turquoise is now sold out so it looks like a lot of people liked it too.

Obviously she knows nothing of her own line.  And if anyone should know, it should be her.  She's no jeweler.

I am watching her show now and she said it was real turq again.  The host said she got an email earlier stating it was genuine rhodonite and simulated turquoise.  Does she not get it???
