Pretty design, but after reading the information, not worth the price. Turquoise is reconstituted - that's turquoise dust put in resin.....

True okiebug, for that reason I won't touch any jewelry with turq cabs that are compressed. It is not always "dust" but small pieces that are compressed and held together by resin. You can detect that immediately if you know anything about turq. This channel also featured jewelry from India not too long ago, and every turquoise cab (some of them huge) was also compressed. The hosts and vendor NOT ONCE mentioned this. I felt compelled to fire off an email. Not that I expect a reply, but it made me feel a little better, lol. A lot of customers will be duped into thinking they are getting natural pieces and not turq or coral that is compressed. The one saving grace is that it is printed in the product detail in very fine print. Is everyone going to read it? I do not think so. I am not as worried about dyed gems - many of them are.

I could tell by the photo without reading the description that it was reconstituted. If the ladies are happy with their rings because of the price not the quality, then I'm glad they feel they got a good deal.

Re: PASSAGE TO ISRAEL RING SHOPHQ's TTV

I've never shopped on ShopHQ, but I just went to their website to check out the ring you are referring to. I can't seem to find it. I love sterling jewelry from Israel, and I own several pieces I bought at TJMaxx. Could someone please post a link to that ring? Thanks!

Re: PASSAGE TO ISRAEL RING SHOPHQ's TTV

Okiebug, I saw that too and felt they should have pointed the turquoise treatment out in their presentation. For me, its imperative the stone be set and not glued so I passed. I also felt the price was a bit high for this type ring. I bought a ring like this design without the stone for $14 in Sterling so this particular ring was a bit high to me. I did like some of their other rings.

Oh well, I guess it's too late now. I would have liked to see the ring. I'm sure I would love it.

I received my ring in Labradorite. I'm keeping it. It completes my suite. I have earrings a pendant, beads, and a bracelet.

Didn't order the TTV ring, but received the spinner ring, and it's great. Way better then the spinner ring that Or Paz made. Glad I held out for the passage to Israel one.
