Re: Need help with watch batteries

@depglass   I have a lot of watches...most are "fashion watches" that are inexpensive...getting new batteries on a regular basis wasn't worth the time or expense.

I put them away and now wear only one good watch that requires a battery. My Rolex (gifted) is on an automatic winder..no battery needed there. So, I only wear those 2 watches now.

I also only have watches that require no batteries.  I buy Citizen Eco Drive.  I keep them on my dressing table where they get ample light to keep them charged.  Love never having to bother with batteries.

Re: Need help with watch batteries

A jeweler told me to never leave a watch stem pulled out.

Re: Need help with watch batteries

I was told never to leave stem out as well, one reason is dirt and dust can get inside of the watch causing other issues, and it really doesn't help, the battery still is running with the stem pulled out anyway..
