Limited Lifetime Warranty on Diamonique Jewelry

Seems like there are a lot of posts asking about this, so I thought I'd start a specific thread on it. Below is a verbatim copy of the warranty. This warranty has been in the package of every piece of Dmq jewelry I've ever gotten from QVC, so I'm kinda surprised that people who have bought from QVC don't know about it. QVC really ought to post the warranty on QVC.com.

"LIFETIME LIMITED WARRANTY

Your Diamonique simulated gemstone jewelry has been crafted to the highest standards. The quality of the Diamonique simulated gemstone is guaranteed for as long as you own it. We will replace the simulated gemstone in its original setting should it become damaged (chipped, cracked, scratched) or lose its brilliance. It will also be replaced in its original setting if it is lost due to a defect in the manufacture or workmanship of the setting."

I had an inside out hoop earring that lost a stone.  The earring was over three years old.  I called CS to see how to go about having it repaired under the Lifetime Warranty, and they sent me a mailing envelope with instructions.  It took about two or three weeks, but my earring was returned to me repaired.

Over the years I have done the same with 3 pieces. 1 was replaced by QVC free of charge, 1 was repaired beautifully, and 1 was repaired with a stone that was really too big. I called customer service and they refunded the cost of the 3 year old piece. This warranty is why I buy diamonique.

The diamonique limited lifetime warranty is a very nice thing to have.  But be aware,  for older items,  no longer in your purchase history,  you may be asked to provide a copy of your original sales receipt.   This has happened to me and to others.   And,  if you can't find the receipt.... you are out of luck.

I think the problem is people buying a damaged item at a yard sale or on Ebay, then turning it in to be repaired.  I've always stacked my invoices in a drawer and clean it out after a couple of years.  There is no organized filing system in this house..  My nightmare is my family finding that stack and realizing how much I have bought.  I guess I'll have to plan my demise right after a drawer clean-out.

It is my experience that they will only do this if you have the original sales slip so be certain to save them.

I can't find my card for the warrenty information could someone send me the phone # to contact about fixing my ring. A stone has fallen out of it.
