No shock here.  They've been having hours of gold.  A few 14K here and there.  Mostly very thin chains.  They keep saying this in solid gold.  Every time they say, they show 10K.  Never say the type of gold. 18K is  almost always gold over silver. Good prices if you want thin 10K in little amounts of gram weight. At the same time ShopHQ has Stefano.  Everything there is 14K.  No 10K at all. Prices are good but pieces are thin with not a lot of gram weight.  Prettier gold though. Italy is going crazy trying to make 14K more affordable.  Plenty of the stretchy new bracelets that are 2 grams.  Just trying to create jewelry that you can see made up in a few grams.

Buy from a reputable jeweler only. I watched a little of some of those on-air programs after you talked about them. It's all junk. Don't waste time or money.

If 10K gold and plated sterling silver were my only options then I would choose 10K gold.

The only problem with 10k gold is that it looks pale and faded.

That plus there's a definite difference in the weight of a piece. 10K jewelry just feels lightweight and, to some extent, it can feel cheapo.

I went to JTV online for the first time in many months.  I just purchased several pair of earrings from Nordstrom Rack, looked at a few on ETSY but was too tired to browse any longer.

I really like Stefano on Shop HQ.

I have been purchasing gold from him for decades--he is very creative! I have given many of his items as gifts, especially in the past when prices were much lower.

I used to buy 10K gold on HSN from Michael Anthony--he had great chains.  I have sold most of my 10K gold now, and I will no longer puchase it.

Yes, gold is sky high these days.  Often Shop HQ offers a coupon for greater savings.

Additionally, Shop HQ has two vendors with 24K gold, and a vendor with 18K gold.

I remember I bought a ten gram 14K bracelet from Peyton Kelley on QVC for only $250.00.  Those were the days!!

Check out Sarraf.com. It's my favorite place to buy decent gold jewelry.

It's only 41% gold.  That's a major problem to me, LOL

The copper in 10k can cause skin irritations in some people.
