Laser Bond Liquid Resin to Fixed Jewelry

Has anyone tried to fix a piece of jewelry with the laser bond liquid resin. I have a steel bracelet that keeps coming off and I would like to try it on steel. I have only seen it demonstrated on plastic, or glass but not metal.

I used the liquid resin to cover the sharp metal clamps holding a pendant to a gold circle.  The sharp edges of the clamps were " picking " at the fabric of my dress.  It worked.

However, when I showed it to my jeweler, she said she smelled the resin !!!   I kept putting it closer to my nose but no smell...I sampled perfumes, and other materials but still couldn't smell the resin.

If you get a burr of metal on a piece of jewelry that snags on clothing, you can usually remove it by filing with a nail fil.  I have a set of jeweler's files that do a splendid job too.
