Just curious.  Has the packaging for JAI jewelry changed?  Normally his pieces come in very nice boxes and pouches.  As does the Barbara Bixby jewelry.  That is part of the appeal of this jewelry for me, especially if gifting items.  High quality pieces in beautiful boxes.   I just received several pieces of JAI jewelry and they were all in the cheap beige QVC boxes and of course, they sent incorrect sizes in a few pieces, which I will send back for an exchange, but most likely will not receive due to they are now on waitlist. SMH.   I am seriously starting to wonder why I order from QVC.  Customer service and quality control no longer exist.

I received 2 Jai pieces and one was packaged in the QVC box.  I wondered what it was when I opened the packaging then when I opened the box my jaw dropped.  I wonder if they ran out of Jai boxes.  I'm glad the package was for me.

I don't buy JAI very often, but I did order his paw print charm over the holidays, and it arrived in the usual lovely box and pouch.  I'm sorry you got the generic Q ugly boxes, but I'll bet the Q just plain ran out of designer boxes.  That has happened to both Bixby and Ripka boxes from time to time.  That's why I save some of my old boxes, in case I order something as a gift and it comes in a generic box, I can switch it out before gifting.  I'd suggest calling CS to request JAI boxes when they become available, if you need them.  I hope you do get the correct sizes for the pieces you have to exchange!

The first time I ordered from JAI was in early 2018. The item came in a generic QVC pouch and box. I even posted about it here back when it happened and said how disappointed I was that I didn't get the lovely JAI packaging. Of course someone had to post that I was making a big fuss about nothing. Geez, no fuss - just disappointment. I feel when you're buying a jewelry item from a designer, you should receive it in their box, especially when they show you how lovely their packaging is.

I just ordered two of the new charm bracelets on Scott's recent visit and this time they came in the JAI pouch and box.

I just got the JAI charm bracelet in the JAI box and pouch, I don't care about packaging unless I'm giving it as a gift. I think they should make the fancy packaging optional.

I know it really doesn't matter, but given the prices of the JAI stuff, I want the "full experience."  I want the JAI box, pouch and the tissue wrapped piece of UNUSED jewelry.

Plus, when I tire of something I sell it on eBay.  You can sell something at a higher price when you have the proper packaging.

I purchased the 2.7 mm box chain bracelet to wear with my watch. I received it today and I was so happy it came in the green Jai box. This is my 3rd piece, all bracelets.

most of the time i get the JAI boxes and pouches. sometimes i just get the generic QVC box. it never really matters to me. i have saved a few of the boxes and now the rest go into a giveaway bag. i dont want all of the boxes stacked up......have no need for them and wont be reselling them. if i buy from resellers on ebay or facebook a box is not a deal breaker for me and i will go with the one that is priced appropriately, box or not.

I agree.  I was planning on giving a pair of Jai earrings to my very picky daughter-in-law.

She was not impressed with the regular QVC black box and bag.  I had to show her the receipt to prove to her it was JAI.  Very, very, sad and disappointed.
