Is anyone familiar with James Avery Jewelry?

I get pop-ups from this company, and went to the site after several items showed. The jewelry looks substantial and interesting. The prices may be a little high, but if it's not clad or coated or resin filled or faux or mystery metals, it might be worth trying.

If anyone has jewelry from this company, please share you thoughts.

Thanks,

Yes....i ordered some years back from them a few items and i must say at least at that time the pieces were very nice and substantial.....and i know i spent a bit more....but i was happy with the results.  But like i say...it has been a few years ...but they are a established older company i believe... so i would prob re-order with them if i saw something i wanted.

If you have a Dillard's they might carry his line.  The Dillard's here does.  It's a nice line, but the bracelets are light weight.

I have a few pieces from James Avery, a ring and a bracelet.  They are fabulous!  They are substantial, weighty, and nicely made.  The packaging was great and gift-worthy.  I am a fan of both of my pieces and would order again.

I am very familiar with James Avery jewelry.  The nicest gifts my husband has given me were James Avery pieces.  This jewelry line is very substantial and the pieces are not hollow.   Whenever my family sees a James Avery bag their eyes light up Smiley Happy

Re: Is anyone familiar with James Avery Jewelry?

I am familiar with the company's products. I have pieces from the 1970's that are heavy silver and detailed. My daughter (25 yrs old) wears them, now. She also has charms/pendants I've bought her over the years.  I don't know about their pieces with gold. The company out of Kerrville, TX does a lot of unique designs.  The prices jumped very high about 3-4 years ago, so to me, there are many pieces not worth the cost.  I grew up in San Antonio, so it was a popular company to buy jewelry from, back then. There was a store in Denver at one time, but it's long gone.

You can request a catalog on site.  I just received the latest one.

I believe he's best known for his faith jewelry and for his design of the "fisherman " bracelet widely used by the ACTS community.  My experience with it is that it is very well made and substantial.

I have quite a few pieces and like the quality as well as designs.  There's a James Avery store in the mall and I always have to stop by and take a look if I'm in the area.

I've had several pieces for more than 20 years - pins, earrings, ring. Their quality is exceptional but the prices are a little too high for me now that I am retired.
