It's my favorite gemstone, and I seem to get compliments on it when I wear it. I think rose gold compliments the color of the stone more so than gold or silver.

The morganite bracelet I have does have pale stones. They look almost clear next to the rose gold. Maybe it's not the best quality Morganite. I got it back when Chuck Clemency was doing one of his specials on ShopNBC.

Hi Jersey Born. I wouldn't pay 5 dollars for that ring. The Lynne ring is way way better looking!

Well, I hate to have to tell you all to check out J268963, a stunning 10 carat (rare) peridot ring. It costs even more. I love the stone and its fabulous cut, but I am not crazy about the setting. I would have liked to have seen it in a thicker, simple and contemporary yellow gold setting without any diamonds, except, possibly in the prongs holding the stone.

I don't care for it at all. It's a washed out pinky, fleshy color that I don't find attractive. I don't see it being flattering to most skin tones. One of my least favorite stones!

that seems an absurd price for a peridot ring. I saw something similar at my jewelers and my boyfriend and I were marveling at the fact that they were even combining diamonds with peridot it just doesn't seem right. as for my feelings on morganite they don't really do anything for me although they're probably a great investment now since they appear to be getting scarce. Personally I prefer an opaque pink like a Peruvian pink opal
