How Are You Styling Your Ripka Today?

Gals, we have an open thread like this over on the Linea Forum and we post (whenever the mood strikes you) on our daily outfits. It gives great styling ideas and is a lot of fun to read. Why not do the same here? Give each other ideas on how to coordinate the pieces. Everyone is different and we can all get new inspiration.

I will post later as I am not yet ready to add my jewelry. We can just keep the thread going, or start a new one every month. Post if you want, or not, but have fun reading.

Who is going to go first?

Hi Sheesh, I like your new thread. Getting ready to go out for the day. Have on retired green quartzite beads with GG enhancer, GG link bracelet, retired emerald pave button earrings and chrome diopside ring on left hand and thin pave band on right hand. Enjoy your day with your Ripka pieces as well.

Great idea for a thread! Today, my contribution is zero, though. It's laundry-cleaning-home maintenance day and I don't want to dirty or damage any baubles. Will check back in during the work week.

Re: How Are You Styling Your Ripka Today?

OK, here's my contribution for today, a combination of older and recent pieces:

Pearl studs surrounded by Blue Sapphires

Right hand: Pearl ring surrounded by Blue Sapphires; Ice Cube Bracelet and Link Bracelet (from the Continuity Series---3rd in the series---can you believe these were about $125--OY) with a White MOP/Pave Heart Enhancer.

Left hand: White Pearl Dangle Band and one of the DQ Station Stacking Bands.

Sterling Sub-dial Watch.

18" Station Chain (one of the early Rhodium pieces, has four quilted stations with bezel set DQ and there is a center ring for enhancers--from about 2007-2008?) with the same White MOP/Pave Heart Enhancer as on the Link Bracelet (I had two).

36" White Pearl and DQ Barrel Station Chain.

Wearing Black Linea Ponte Leggings and a Bob Mackie Blue and Black Architectural Print Top. Cole Haan Black Suede and patent Flats.

I'd post a picture, but I can't seem to make it work.....

Very simple attire today, as I was attending a neighborhood potluck. I wore a white cotton collared shirt with black leggings and black flats. My jewelry was the following retired JRQ: Dark Pink DMQ pave Evil Eye Enhancer on Dark Pink DMQ pave barrel station 18" Necklace plus round Button ERs of faceted Hematite encircled by a border of Rhodolite. No cuffs, bracelet, rings or watch.

I love those pieces. I have an ivory scarf with navy blue anchors on it that I wear a lot in the summer, these pieces go perfectly with it.

I'm not really a stud earring person but I love, love, love these...so classic.

Re: How Are You Styling Your Ripka Today?

well...twas not JRQ, but JR2 Saturday night. I wore THIS dress with the ambrosia JR2 fruit collection - pear shaped dangle earrings. multi-stone 6-stone stunning bracelet, and 3-stone amy center/pink corundum side stone cocktail ring. My own stuff on my LH.

People were grabbing my Ripka wrist and asking about my pieces! Total fun!

BTW, if you are wearing chartreuse this season, JR's canary crystal is a perfect fit. The Amy/pink corundum and canary crystal stones set off this dress perfectly. I felt like a Ripkarized princess lol!

I'm dressed in a black turtleneck and cords, so I have on several layers over the turtleneck: Black faux leather braided necklace in silver and Diamonique with Athena silver/18k clip-on; 18k baby Romance chain; Scott Kay Faith Collection cross necklace; Scott Kay Faith collection men's black spinel amulet necklace; and various other pieces of Judith Ripka, Scott Kay and Barbara Bixby on wrists/fingers.

Re: How Are You Styling Your Ripka Today?

Well, I got off to a late start today with the jewelry and worked at home. Dressing very simply. Linea Black Ponte Knit Leggings and Linea Black Ponte Knit Tunic---can't get more basic or comfortable. Cole Haan Black Suede and Patent Flats.

I'm wearing the Ripka Sterling Carved/Ribbed Heart w/14K Clad and DQ Accents on the Long Black Cord with a pair of Judith Ripka Sterling Carved Chubby Demi Hoops. On right wrist, the JR Sterling Panther Link Cuff and an older JR Sterling Dome Ring with ribbing and diagonally set DQs---it's an "oldie but goodie"--it has to be at least 10 years old. On my left hand, the JR Sterling Black Onyx Carved Dome Rng with Pave DQ down the enter ---a great "go to" and "travel" ring. No watch today, as I'm sitting in front of the computer and the time is staring me in the face!

Even though I'm dressed very simply, at a moments notice I could pop on a nice coat and Pashmina and be out the door for dinner/drinks and I'd be perfectly proper.
