Saw that it was on QVC2. Loved to watch this in the olden days. It was a 24 hour thing and the hosts came in costume-well,maybe one year in costume.

Not very advertised.  I had no idea it was even on.

I checked the gold sale online. The prices were still ridiculous.

Just one is example is Eternagold. Many items were $200 a gram. It's not worth that. No way.

Other gold was way overpriced even at today's gold prices.

There was one pair of earrings I really wanted but was unwilling to pay that for minimal gold and low quality stones.

I'll go to Sarraf dotcom and buy quality gold products for much less money per gram.

I got to Sarraf too.  Someone on the board recommended them to me years ago.  Yes.  It used to $100.00 per 14k gram.  It's double that now.  18K is near ridiculous range.  Shame.

IMO the two shows were just opportunities for the newer hosts to try their hand at selling jewelry.  I agree the prices were quite high, and there was not a lot of variety in products.  There were also no great sales.

Yes, I remember the old shows fondly, and I am glad I am not spending as much these days!
