As much as I like diamonds, even in the real thing that’s not a ring I would want to wear.  For a while before I pretty much gave up buying new jewelry, I looked at a collection of halo diamond rings, but the ones I liked best had center stones right around one carat, so I would expect to want that approximate size in DMQ, too.

I can see that it would be gaudy.  I wouldn't have ordered it in the first place.

Wear it - wear it every place you go, you'll get loads of compliments and I promise you - it will make you like the ring. 

It may never be in your top 6 favorites, but you'll end up liking it because you'll get noticed and people will say it's very pretty.
