Whenever JAI is on - I get out my very heavy bali necklaces and bracelets from Suarti's time on QVC and wear them - so much heavier than JAI but looks just as nice.

This is how I am stopping myself from spending more money on his beautiful jewelry

@CaneCorsoMom  We think alike.  Whenever I watch any jewelry show on any channel, I like to drag out my stash so I can refresh my memory and realize I already have similar items!  Helps keep me out of trouble too!

@CaneCorsoMom  That’s a good idea because we often forget about all the beautiful pieces we have and never wear, and end up buying pieces that aren’t as nice as what we’ve already got. It makes you think hard before buying something new. It’s a good technique to stop impulse buying.

I did this on a jewelry channel show too. When you do that, it's not like, "boy I have to have some of that!"  Kind of like eating a hot fudge sundae while watching someone on t.v. do that same thing.  It helps. LOL

Actually, I've never seen one of his presentations.  But I can relate to what you are saying.  Whenever any pearl shows or turquoise shows air on any shopping channel;  I always bring out my pearls and turquoise.  I've been collecting for years and what I have is often much better than what they sell now.

@CaneCorsoMom I really loved Suarti’s jewelry shows. She brought such beautiful silver & gemstone jewelry to QVC and always did a Balinese dance in full costume at the end of each show. I felt like I was transported on a mini vacation to Bali when ever I watched her shows.😊

Lots of times when any jewelry is on, I do watch although I stopped buying jewelry about 6 years ago.  Just never bought any Suarti -  I'm not a lover of thr white metals and I just never saw anything of hers I couldn't easily live without.  It's also possible since I don't know what years she was on, I might have already stopped buying much silver at all.

Although I bought a lot of her jewelry, I found her as annoying as heck.  Much prefer the JAI shows, and the quality is much better.

When I am tempted with jewelry I always take a stroll through my jewelry boxes first!
