I received my beautiful giraffe ring a few days ago -  I absolutely LOVE it! 

However, my ring came in a generic QVC box with their generic suede bag. 

Usually other designer jewelry I purchased (Ann King, Judith Ripka, Barbara Bixby)always came with their name on the box, a nice velvet pouch and a romance card. 

As this was my first purchase in this line, I was wondering if this is normal? I would think that a nice line of jewelry like JAI would have an upgraded package.

I have a few JAI pieces of jewelry, and if memory serves me right, they came in a greenish/bluish box.  I love their jewelry.  I just wish it weren't so expensive.

I have had some Jai pieces come in Jai packaging and other Jai pieces come in generic packaging. You never know what Q will send.

I hear ya! I would love to get the matching giraffe bracelet, but it's just a little too pricey for me.

Considering this is a designer line, and pricey too, ALL the items should come in a nicer box!

I know my Jai packages that I bought on the fall silver day came in generic packages. The actual Jai packaging is much nicer. I know the vendor has been trying to get Q to use the Jai packaging.

I've seen some pieces of JAI jewelry on eBay with their designer box and bag. It looks so nice.

if you are on facebook you should definitely mention this to scott grimes (scott grimes qvc, john hardy, jai jewelry for qvc). others mention this when they dont receive the designer packaging. it is a pine green box and a pine green jewelry bag. your giraffe is a new item so it really should have come with the packaging.

it looks like this but no longer says john hardy underneath the JAI.

maybe you could contact customer service or leave a customer service message in the customer care forum. perhaps they would give you a small discount since you did not receive the designer packaging?

I may call CS and ask WHY my item didn't come in one of JAI's boxes. I doubt CS would give any kind of a refund over a box though.
