Hello everybody, lately I have been wearing rings that have been just sitting in my jewelry box.  Yesterday I wore my flower ring from Barbara Bixby.  I have the iolite.  I remember I purchased it at a very good price. I really enjoyed her presentations. Her pieces are so lovely, very substantial.  I may wear it again today. Have a nice day everybodySmiley Happy

I wear one of her flower and vines rings almost every day. I have most of the gemstone versions. Today tho' I'm wearing the gold and silver version without gemstones. My favorite is the white topaz. Compliments from all age groups on those rings!

I have the cognac topaz version of the flower ring. I love it but don't wear it much as it's too big for every day. But each time I take it out of her trademark coppery box and tapistry pouch I'm overjoyed. Beautiful workmanship, beautiful ring. I think it was a TSV when I purchased it as it was quite inexpensive compared to her recent prices.

Yes, bring back some classic BB rings!

Yes, some of my favorite designer pieces are Barbara Bixby.  Her designs and the quality of her gemstones were superb - why can't we have more than one high-end sterling silver designer on the Q?

@just wonder  I'm sorry to say that the Q is cutting way down on jewelry designers because jewelry is not selling like it used to.  The hosts that could always get jewelry to sell are pretty much gone, if I use their names this post will get poofed, but I think everyone on the jewelry forum can guess who I'm talking about.  One reason I don't watch anywhere near as much Q on tv is that the fun, glamorous, and beautiful jewelry shows of silver, gold, and designers are gone.  I just can't watch people sell laptops and vacuum cleaners for hours, sorry!

I agree, I also left out names for the same reason.  Smiley Happy

I really haven't been wearing jewelry the last year and a half (pretty much being home) but I will say that my Barbara Bixby rings are some of my favorites.  I do have two of the flower rings - unfortunately I lost a stone in the petal of the citrine one some time ago which was very disappointing.  All my other Bixby (including my other flower ring in the rhodonite garnet) that has never happened.

@CamilleP   I think Barbara Bixby priced herself out of the general Q market....same with Ann King who I loved and Michael Dawson. I think JAI is more universally appealing, but I'm tired of seeing his shows because many items are too similar.
